On Cloud Nine!

Hey fam!
Well… guess who is starting her last transfer…. Hermana Price is!!!! Woot! I feel like I´m on cloud nine! Things are going GREAT here in the mission. J This week has been nuts! So whenever one of the sisters get sick I have to go to the doctor’s office with them, so I got a call from the zone leaders saying that Hna. XXX (she is from Texas) is sick. That was Thursday afternoon so I spent all of Thursday, all of FridaySaturday AND Sunday until 8 at night. I feel like all the nurses and doctors that work there are my friends. Haha I even got the doctor to read a couple of verses in the book of Mormon! And I gave the nurse a “Proclamation to the Word” pamphlet because she is having problems with her boyfriend (who is also the father of her child) haha It was actually really fun to be in the clinic all that time with hermana XXX, she is an awesome sister, it was nice to have all that time to talk to her and get to know her more. Then, 2 other sisters showed up while I was there sick with stomach aches, so them Sister Gomez showed up to help us out. So it was pretty much a little party in the doctor’s office all day. J

Another short little story of this week, so we´re teaching this lady and her kids, she kids are members and she wants to get baptized SO bad but the missionaries never could baptize her before because she still lived with her husband. The don´t actually live together. They live in the same house but her beats her and the kids, and they don´t even really talk to each other, but we have to follow the mission rules and we can´t baptize her while she is still living with this guy. So we decided to help her find a house to move into. Tuesday we visited her and told her we would fast with her, and help her look for a house, Saturday in the afternoon we started the fast, and of course ended the fast the next day on Sunday. Of course I was in the clinic but just after I said amen to end my fast, my comp called me and told me that Hna. XXX found a house and they are going to move in Monday morning!!! It was so awesome!!! I love moments like that in the mission! So we stopped by after breakfast today to help them out a little today, and they were all smiles and watery eyes. Hermana XXX  will be getting baptized August 9thJ My comp and I are really happy and our testimonies have grown. I know that God listens to our prayers. Thank you for all of your prayers and support that you show for me. J I can´t wait to see you all again!
Love, Hna. Price

Lovin Life

Hey Guys. J
How are you all doin?? Ben and Krystal congrats with the new offspring! She is super cute. J Bry sent me a pic and maybe it´s because she has a little hat on but, I figured she would have a lot more hair! ;) She is adorable, and I love her name Ellie, it just fits. J Sooooooooooon I will be home and will be able to meet her. Then while we are all at the airport Elise´s water is going to break and we are all going to go to the hospital! How´s that for a family party!? Oh how I miss all of you, I can´t wait to come home and spend time with all of you guys, Benny Boy, Krystal, Tammy, (I want to go visit Uncle John for sure) Joshy, Abi, Jer, Bridger, Code Man, Grampa, Grandma Clark, Auntie and Latu, Sarah and Spencer, Corinne and Clarence, uncle brent aunt Kristene… am I forgetting someone? Oh ya… Y algien muy gapo y alto… haha but yeah, enough with the trunky talk. ;)

Things are going great here in Iquitos. I´m still getting use to all my duties as a Hermana leader but it´s actually really fun to be able to help the sisters in the mission, I have three little gringas in my zone and its nice get give them some words of advice and encouragement. It takes me back to when I started the mission. They are all so worried about the food and the hygiene here in the jungle. They have all these questions about how the numbers work here in the mission and if their hair is going to be healthier here in the jungle. J I love them.

Well just a quick little story, Sunday I realized how far out in the middle of no where I really am. Yet again there was a group of people from the states doing humanitarian work in my area. Whenever I see a white person in my area I´m probably just as shocked as the natives here, I forget how far away I am from the world. Anyways…. My lovely Zone leaders are telling me to get off now… Dang. Haha well I will talk with you guys next week! LOVE YOU ALLLLLLLLL!!!!

Crazy Girl with Twitchy Eye

Hey peeps!
How is everyone doing! I would put a question mark and a smiley face but this keyboard isn’t working so bear with me. But this week has been CRAZY! Frist off I had my first Zone Conference for the leaders in the mission. Funny story… I didn’t know when the meeting was so Wednesday morning rolls around and about 815 when the elders remember to call me, they told me that the conference was starting and I had about 10 minutes to get there…. Thanks elders! So I scrambled for all my stuff, fixed my hair the best I could and then rushed out the door. I arrived late and walked into the conference room while they were talking about how many baptisms we had in June. When I got to my seat the zone leaders sarcastically said, Please sister Price at least try to be on time next time! Haha

So this week Ive just been busy doing my daily missionary chores. Also I have been visiting the sisters in my zone and the second zone that I am in charge of. In other words… Im super busy!!!! And SUPER stressed!!!! Im so stressed that my right eye keeps twitching haha… I probably look like a crazy girl or a chicken with its head cut off. Haha

Speaking of time… I don’t have a ton of time to write you guys, but just know that Im happy and taking it day by day. Im trying to remember to breath and stay calm and just remember that Prices can do hard things. I will write you guys a better letter next week. There isn’t much time because one of the elders walked by my computer and tripped on the cords and shut off the power of my computer. Haha But I love you guys a ton! Talk to you next week.
